Determining Which Messages a Telephone Tool Supports

If you are designing an application that is not tied to a particular telephone tool, you can determine which messages a telephone tool supports. The functions in this section return a long integer whose bits indicate the terminal, directory number, and call appearance messages that are supported by a telephone tool. See "Terminal Messages" on page 5-9, "Directory Number Messages" on page 5-12, and "Call Appearance Messages" on page 5-14 for details on the bit masks for each type of Telephone Manager message.
